Upper Riccarton Bible Reading Group:

Where and when?

Monday evenings:
Where: Upper Riccarton Library, 71 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch
When: Monday at 7:30pm
(During school term 2026)

If you’ve never read the Bible before, this is your opportunity to discover what you’ve been missing out on! Or perhaps you have done some reading, but are just finding it all too hard to unravel. This bible reading group may be just what you have been waiting for. We will read and discuss the bible together and lead some classes that can help every one of us.

This group is entirely free (you will never be asked for money) and are run by volunteers from the Christadelphian community. No pressure is ever applied, as we believe in freely providing everyone with the tools to begin reading the Bible for themselves and so to discover a real treasure!

Topic for 2026:
The gospel of Luke, and the life of Jesus.

I want to learn to read the Bible. Where do I start?
If this is you, come join us for a free 10-week group as we read through the gospel of Luke and unpack the life of Jesus and begin to understand the big Bible picture and its meaning for you. Don‘t have a Bible? No problem, a Bible will be provided.
